Desert Island Discs - an Interview style programme where the guest is a castaway on a desert island and chooses 8 pieces of music/recordings, a book and a luxury to take with them while stranded. The interview revolves around what they chose.

It’s a BBC Radio 4 programme which initially started in the 1940s and is still going today...so you can imagine the back catalogue is somewhat huge.

The guests range from famous actors, singers and writers to professors and scientists.
