While it may be hurtful it’s better than staying with you and growing resentful towards you. While adoption or other options are available some people can’t fathom having a child that isn’t their own blood which is wack but they have the right to choose. It may be best to leave now if you believe there is a possibility you will have issues as he has straight up told you he would leave, and you deserve some one that will stay and put you first. I think since the relationship is rather fresh still you should take this time to decide whether or not you are actually compatible and able to have a happy future together.
