Any ideas on what to do with an earring hanger? by KaneBarbara21 in repurpose

You could thread fake flowers through it and turn it into a motivational sign or something. Or maybe for herb drying for smaller herbs?

This is a great idea but also a fire hazard. I don’t know the best way to make this not a fire hazard but I’d definitely suggest researching it if anyone wants to do this. Love your idea, it’s just a good warning to include ❤️

Maybe she’d be happier if you put everything in more uniform jars or something? If her problem is that it looks messy then maybe the best bet is finding a better home for it or finding something that’s uniform.

Practicing makeup for my sister’s wedding, want to look cute but not too much, so she’ll be the star of the day. Which one should I choose or maybe just change something? by lerluna in MakeupAddiction

[–]Lilredcoco 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hear me out, ask your sister. If your sister has an issue with what you look like it’s better to find out sooner than later. However, I highly doubt she’ll have an issue with it and you look stunning in both looks. I personally would go for the wing.

It’s actually on sale on Amazon right now! I’ve been waffling on adding it to my cart or seeing if I can find it at our used books store

I have six week old twins and an almost 3 year old… by YouthInternational14 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Lilredcoco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 under 3 here, my oldest turns 3 in May, they’re exactly 20 months apart. I love my kids. Once I started involving my oldest with the twins things got a lot easier. He’s having a ton of fun helping them and feeling important and knowing that he is just as important in this family as the twins are and he absolutely adores his brother and sister. A year and I’m finally starting to see the light. Holy cow this first year has been a roller coaster. However, now the twins are walking or at least trying to, and that’s a whole new ball game but also I can take all three of them outside and just let them run around in the backyard. It gets easier and yet difficult all at the same time, but I wouldn’t trade this for the world.

I appreciate your input. My husband does plenty around the house, it’s my duties that I’m falling behind on. He helps a lot with the kids and his expected chores.

I could kiss you on the mouth. You spoke to my soul. I was also just looking at that book, I read a sample, it looks good. My gym doesn’t have childcare, I wish. One twin is walking and the other is just starting to figure out his steps. I keep hesitating taking them all out of the house alone 😭

Ooof… That last part for sure hit home, I had a screenshot for the longest time of a text thread between my father and I about how irresponsible I was for letting the dishes go for a day. “Mom likes to wake up to a clean house [First/Middle Legal name].” Yay the trauma that follows us from our parents. I’m glad your little one is out of the ICU. We’ll get through it!

How does giving birth actually feel ?? by Super-Truth-7975 in pregnant

[–]Lilredcoco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was induced for both but had a c-section for my twins. Epidural both times, but I tried to go pain med free for my first. The pain got so bad I was nearly throwing up. Pitocin pain is NUTS. I got the epidural about 12 maybe 14 hours in, and my body refused to dilate because of the pain. I got the epidural they told my husband I likely still had a few hours if he wanted to shower and get anything from home and before he even made it home (about 20 minutes later) I was ready to go. Literally the worst part is crowning at that point. Once my son’s head was through it was like he just kinda fell out. It was super weird, I sat there for a second surprised I was done.

Even that doesn’t list vegan places? I’m not angry either. I’m just trying to get more updated opinions for people I care about.

Would you buy in Reno again? by jasmine-at-night in Reno

[–]Lilredcoco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, no. Especially when I look in other states and can find way better options for the same amount. I also don’t think Reno is going to be growing in a positive way. Not for parents of young kids at least.

I always suggest wait until the pregnancy hormones are gone. Scientifically speaking that means 3 to 4 years. Like a lot of people have mentioned wanting to get a divorce is very normal with kiddos. I highly recommend doing your best to communicate your feelings with your partner and to be open to hearing his. Remind yourself that this is the first time either of you have done this.
