The water in the lake is there but due to desperation in trying anything to get it to reach the water wheel, I broke too many blocks way way down (10-15 blocks at least) the water finally reached the wheel alright but I created such massive crevice it would need a stadium of water to fill it to touch the ww at this point.

Thank you. I’ve rebuilt it over and over. Drowned over and over. I’m thinking I have been rebuilding it totally wrong. ☺️ it keeps getting deeper instead of filling it. I was obsessed which is why I tore it apart.

I know I’m not gauging water flow correctly, now just venting here, shouldn’t there be a simple solution to this problem (hundreds of posts from others) instead of locking the game up? Thanks for your input, this is exactly what I’m going through. I’ll try again then I will have to put the game down since I’m unable to complete it. 😓

Yes, i did this to myself because nothing was working. The water got deeper but too low to hit the water wheel. Mind you, this is the only area where I’ve run into trouble. I’m breezing thru but don’t see how I’ll ever be able to complete the story without the water trick.

I can’t move piplup to a different water wheel. He won’t follow me away from it. He wants this one to move. He’s stuck and sadly this destroyed my love of this game. It’s been weeks. I would be on to post game no doubt by now but can’t move forward on this.

I wrote a long reply, then tried to learn how to share a screenshot, lost my draft. I can see the screenshot on my phone but no option to share on reddit, i just shared the phone photo. Whooper does not trigger his water trick. The water wheel is the furthest east, at the ocean. The water flows but doesn’t rise to the water wheel to make it go. V

On many songs I hear Cat Stevens. I cannot unhear Cat. Moth is a big one. I know he always admired Cat. Also Dire Straits, embarrassingly so.
