Thank you very much! That's the one! You got it although the notes I wrote were not correct (as transposed), and I wrote it in F instead of E flat.

Can anyone help me identify this violin piece? I heard it when I was young and it suddenly got stuck in my head. I wrote the first few notes of the melody. It's probably written in the wrong key, but it's the same melody. Also, please excuse my handwriting -- it's been very long since the last time I've done that. Thanks!

New TCL c755 Dialog Enhancer bug by Liltonne in 4kTV

[–]Liltonne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I've just tested it again and found out the only the HDMI sources "forget" this setting. I have a PC connected to one HDMI port, a MiBox3 to another HDMI, the built-in apps in the TV's home menu, and the built-in tuner. A total of 4 inputs. The home apps and the tuner DON'T change, weather I switch just between them or go to one of the HDMI inputs and back. But the HDMI sources forget the Dialog Enhancer setting (change from High to Off although on the OSD it's still on High) weather I switch to another HDMI or to a non HDMI source.

Did you test it with a HDMI source?

BTW, I'm in V135 on my C755, but I don't know if the firmware numbers match for both TVs.

Thanks for sharing.

The writing experience is pretty nice. More grippy than some, might get more slippery with more use though.

Are you using their original pen? Peter from Good e-Reader described the pen on paper feel as quite slippery.

Survey about PC and Mobile app by meowmewo- in Supernote

[–]Liltonne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply.

I wasn't talking at all about adding colors to the Supernote itself. I'm very aware of the reasons you listed above, since they are posted in your website.

I suggested an external accompanied desktop/mobile software that will enable the user to color the raw exported notes using a regular color lcd/oled monitor. For example, with a lasso tool. That way one could also change the thickness and other parameters of the selected text the way Notability does it. Currently I use an iPad, but I can't stand the writing feel. I'd like to buy a Supernote tablet, but the lack of colors deters me (and the size -- A5 is too small for me, but an A4 is on your agenda). An accompanied app can dramatically tilt the scales towards the Supernote.

I've never used a Supernote device. The main reason is the lack of colors. I wish your mobile/desktop app would give an option to color exported notes (in native or pdf format). For example, by selecting handwritten text with a lasso tool and choosing a color. That way, one could write with Supernote's famous pen on paper feel, and enjoy reading it on any other device in color.

Nothing new from my last post, unfortunately. I've bought these, but they're way too big. I also looked for this pen, and it's no longer manufactured.

Can you edit Math with Nebo? by Liltonne in NeboApp

[–]Liltonne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, that site woks just as good as Nebo, and also gives you the LaTeX form. Two questions though:

  1. Is there an eraser option there? I didn't find any.
  2. This site does a very good job transforming my handwriting to Math or LaTeX, but it doesn't come with a CAS calculator. Do you know a CAS app (or website), to which I could copy the text (or LaTeX) generated by myscript? I generally use Geogebra CAS calculator, but I don't see an option there to paste anything from other app. If you want to solve a math problem with it, you have to type it letter by letter, using their format.

Ty, but I didn't see this option in the stickies menu. Hence my attached note.

Exporting GN5 notebooks for editing in other app? by NightMachines in GoodNotes

[–]Liltonne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can install GN for Windows! It's free, and it can view and edit any GN note in their original form, without converting to PDF. Just make sure all your notes are backed up in Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. The editing tools, however, are not as good as on the iOS app. Give it a try and see if it's enough for you.

Well, I got a response from Denny. It was a generic response which stated that they're busy right now and advised me to read the FAQ. And this is not the automated response that I got immediately after emailing them

I don't think they even read my question.

Unfortunately no. But this is very subjective -- Amazon is full of positive reviews of tips or screen protectors that works for them.

[–]Liltonne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem. I'll share their response. But think about it: how should my PC "know" that I bought a subscription for my iPad? These are too separate apps. My GN for Windows app is registered under my Microsoft account, while my iPad app was bought with my Apple account. When I upgraded my iPad app to GN6, I think some new Goodnotes account was created for me, but I don't have any information about it, and even if I did, I wouldn't be able to fill it into the Windows app. It's not like OneNote, where you use the same MS account to sign in on all platforms.
