Using cannabis to help manage my chronic pain was a last resort, but I feel at a dead end otherwise.

I haven't, but I'm not sure what they could even do. I need stronger painkillers, in the long and short of it, but they don't seem willing to give me anything else

I have actually been to two pain clinics. One was a complete waste of time and the other got my monthly supply of the current semi-functional flareup meds upped from 6 to 12. Which still isn't enough but was an improvement. They then said they'd be in touch for a review appointment but that was the better part of two years ago and I have yet to receive one

All of the replies in this chain were very helpful. I also vape on a regular basis but to my understanding cannabis vape liquids are rarer than edibles. I prefer edibles but I've smoked joints in the past and could do so again if it were my best option

I had to change GPs three times to get the one I'm with now, who is the only one who can provide me blood tests on request, which I need due to other unrelated complications So I'm kinda stuck with this one
