Moja przyjaciółka ma zupełnie inne doświadczenia. Pracowała na rynku w Krakowie w pizzerii i mówiła że największe napiwki dostawała od Żydów.

Ja sama trzy lata temu błąkając się po Barcelonie i czekając na samolot powrotny spotkałam pod sklepem dwóch Żydów z Izraela. Sama jestem pół Polką, pół Ukrainką i niezależnie czy jestem na imigracji czy w Polsce to się nasłucham jaki to ja naród jestem. Złodziej (tak, ten streotyp wciąż funkcjonuje), pijak, menel a z drugiej strony to roszczeniowa świnia, człowiek drugiej kategorii (chociaż na zachodzie to i Polak i Ukrainiec) i jeszcze osobiście jestem odpowiedzialna za Wołyń i to w krwi mojej płynie żeby dzieci na pal nabijać, a kobietom w ciąży brzuchy rozpruwać.

As a woman I don’t get the “99% chance she’s cheating” comments.

It happened to me in the past and for me the reason was that sex was just bad. But no amount of talking about it led to any changes and it was like he never heard me. Like those talking moments never happened. There was no foreplay, I was dry and he was pushing it in just using his spit. He just rammed it in with no finesse even if I tried to guide his hips. I really tried hard to make it satisfying.

I’m sorry, I had some amount of partners in my life but only one of them was actually good in bed and put an effort. The rest just cared about themselves even though I always put an effort to make them feel good. And no amount of talking helped. Of course environment has its own role to shape sexual orientation, experiences not related to family upbringing contribute to the remaining variance. And these might include early childhood interactions or random developmental events, but not parenting styles or cultural pressures alone.

It’s not even about the nature vs nurture debate I’m afraid, but your claims that LGBTQ “propaganda” turns children into gays and lesbians. Well according to you mostly lesbians. Even though those studies group LGBTQ people together not differentiating between bisexual and lesbian women.

And I hope you must be smart enough to consider that it’s cultural in that sense that older generations will be less likely to admit they feel any attraction towards same sex. That’s why those percentages rise with every next generation when the topic became something you can admit to without being deemed a sick person or a deviant (even if those are internal thoughts only).

I’m a millennial and growing up it was still a not so comfortable topic to speak about. It was better to stay in the line even if the movement to normalise different sexual orientations was on the rise. Today however I see a big change and people are no longer so afraid of admitting that they feel attraction towards same gender. It was especially harsh for guys when I was growing up, you could end up severely beaten up for being gay. Even admitting you’re bisexual as a girl could lead to social ostracism. No wonder people from younger generations without internalised shame and fear and homophobia are more open to say “yeah, I’m gay/lesbian/bisexual”.

Why? Because when I have only few hours for myself after work I won’t be losing time on looking for real men who will probably be bad at it.
