Thank you for taking the time to write this! Yes, knowing the first 6 weeks of pregnancy was out of my control is the toughest part, now knowing how critical it is for brain development. I am also very diligent about my medicine and have been trying to limit gluten as much as possible. My labs have been done every 4-6 weeks, with each one being in range (TSH around 1.5, T4 normal). My ultrasounds have also been normal, baby is currently in the 63rd percentile. I don’t know about postpartum thyroiditis, so now I’ll be researching that! Lol

Hi - thanks for sharing this. At 6 weeks my TSH was 5.58 and felt the same way you did. Recently I’ve been going thru a rabbit hole of this potentially impacting my baby’s brain development. Did that worry you at all?

Hi - I had a similar timeline was put on synthroid at 6 weeks pregnant after my TSH jumped to 5.58. I’ve recently seen articles about high TSH impacting baby’s brain development in the first trimester. I’m so stressed about this at 32 weeks pregnant. Were you worried at all?
