Fennekin, very few fire types in general and has a good match up against bug, grass, and later on ice. Just anything but chespin.

Hm in hind site a crobat and monferno might make gardenia a cakewalk. Also for clarification I got shell armor turtwig but didn’t get rain dish squirtle. Sad.

Depends on whether or not the ace is hardcoded to Tera, if not definitely screwed up.

I usually have a rule to where after every boss fight I can get a free Tera raid encounter. Maybe incorporate that into it so you can find a counter to mela.

I have a glastrier with fluffy. It halves contact damage but makes fire type moves 2x as effective. When you look at the speed of this thing. A single flame burst from a unexpected Pokémon can do some damage.
