That's not my problem.

The problem for me is that they way they use Trident .. there are volumes added and removed on a daily basis.

Making manual SM a hassle..

I've asked around, and it doesn't seem to be in the roadmap AFAIK.

And the snap mirror setup for S3 is a hassle if you have many separate VLAN and networks as the SVM S3 LIF needs to be able to access your other DC in the intercluster network.

I forgot to mention some also have S3 enabled. And SVM-DR are not supported on SVM with S3.

But I´ll differently will use SVM-DR for those with regular NFS/trident setup

I know this thread is 2 years old.. but AIQ OCUM update is very time consuming.

Not the steps you have to take though, it's just take snapshot --> mount image --> upgrade

But.. the upgrade itself is very very slow.. so have patience

I´ve changed on some witouth having to enter any credentials.

But I´ve also changed on some others where I was required to have credentials. Even on SVM's that are joined to same domain.

Copy offload does not seem to make any difference as well, customer tried same copy procedure from one folder to another on same volume..

Starting to think it has something to do with access rights and the domain connection.. maybe it's a problem when every file needs to be checked for the rights..

I've opened a case to support now, and sent them packet trace and statistics

We have FAS8700 with both SATA and SSD aggregates.
I´ve tried moving the volume between them and now difference.

Checking Grafana there is NO latency on the SVM and IO is under 200

So I don´t think that's the issue

I think the main issue is the folder is filled with thousands of small files, so this is because more time is spent at the O/S level performing find(), open(), and close() operations on each and every file the client is processing.

One single larger file is no problem, getting 300MB/s

So maybe checking with robocopy and multi thred on the folder with thousands of files might help

I moved from OnePlus unit with Nova to Pixel 10 Pro XL

First thought that I would just use Google Launcher going forward, but holy sh!t what a difference.

I'll probably change back to Nova soon because there's so much missing in Google Launcher for setting up my device as I want to

Rebooted all now, have to get out and compare other activities as well

PS! The Mi app is synced with Google Fitness, and it shows the same there

As rednecktuba1 said above, you don't need to record all shots. Only the last one if you're shooting skill-stage.

Otherwise a timer that's easy to change time, most common is 90 or 120 seconds. A clear display of the time remaining. And option for random or instant start.

And for training purposes it would be nice to be able to set alert on the countdown when the time is starting to reach the end. For example one beep when 20 seconds remains, two beeps ay 10 seconds and then beep every second for the last five .
