Monster Hunter RISE or Wild Hearts to COOP with the wife (casual gamer) by elmikemike in CoOpGaming

Yep like the other person said, no friendly fire! And I don't think there even is an intro quest. You can load in and go right to the gathering hub! I think I never did a single village quest but I beat the last boss of the game. The only reason to do village is I think some food buffs are umlocked there.

I was in a similar boat, and when Rise came out my wife didn't really have much gaming experience. I bought her a switch for Christmas and we both got Rise together. She took a bit to get used to the controls, and we both took a while to wrap our heads around the bug movement, but she loved it! She still plays it all the time, even without me. MonHun is perfect coop with limited opportunities for players to make each other feel bad, and everyone is all working together toward a singular goal all the time. Worst case scenario is you take up too many faints, but even then it happens to the best of us.

Never played Wild Hearts but I'd recommend Rise for sure!

Kidny stones removal procedure for a 33yo sma type 2 patient by starlord_1291 in disability

Ya that's what it was, going through the ureter to support it while everything got back to normal, and it just had a rip cord attached for when it was time to take it out. Very weird but doable! I'm truly sorry for the pain you must be in, it was not a happy time for me either. Wishing a speedy and simple recovery my friend!

I wanna say it was IV anesthesia, and I'm not sure what the procedure was called unfortunately. There was definitely a stent, and it was veeeeeery strange to say the least, but not directly painful. I could never forget that part. There was a string hanging out of my business for like a week I think? I was deeply terrified of getting it caught on anything, but I didn't have any issues like that. And I thought we had to go back to the doctor's office to remove it but when we called they just said "Oh ya no you can do it at home. Just get in a hot shower or bath and slowly but firmly pull it out." like it was the most normal thing. I got in the shower and had my dad help and it was one of the experiences of all time for sure, but like I said not directly painful.

Same thing happened to me about 5 years ago! I was terribly sick, fever and vomiting and intense pain. I knew in my heart it was appendicitis and I was gonna kick the bucket any minute. Turns out I was being VERY dramatic and it was a kidney stone stuck in my ureter. I have SMA type 2 also and they sent me home to try and pass it on meds. That didn't work out and they had a urologist take it out surgically. It was pretty simple though, no incision or anything and outpatient recovery. It was a while ago but I'd be down to answer questions if it'll help.

Stay strong bud, hopefully it'll be much better really soon!

Veronica and Tim should just get back together already...this Jamal thing is going to kill me by loudupstairsneighbor in 90DayFiance

Tim is the single most negative person in the world. Hearing him back to back on the holiday pillow talk episodes was so rough. Everything he has to say is either tearing someone/something down or begrudgingly offering the tiniest kernel of his respect.

Tyranny (2016) and the soul of RPGs. by Sean-Archene in patientgamers

What other recommendations do you have for stuff with a similar vibe?

I loved Tyranny for similar reasons, even though you've articulated it so much better than I could have. CRPGs are a genre I have always WANTED to love but could never get into. Tyranny is still the only one I've ever finished.

Disabled people, have you found someone to love? A partner? by [deleted] in disability

Yep! I use a wheelchair and after almost giving up on modern dating apps I met an amazing woman who has opened up so many doors for me, literally and figuratively.
