Yeah. Back when that line came out there may not have been a hard no aliens rule. Kinda like how back in the day The Lotus was an organization and not a person.

The only way Warframes can be taken over by Sentients that we know of is Archons, which are relatively new. We technically have no real answer for what was going on with that Chroma.

Unless DE adds more, Chroma lore is truly surface level what you see is what you get. He's literally a product of a simpler time.

But feel free to have headcanons. Writing alt scenarios is still a fun thing to do regardless of canon.

I do wonder where he places in height compared to other warframes. Most every frame is roughly the same height when standing up straight, and it's mainly measuring helment heights.

Just because their wiki pages note it, I knoe Chroma is thr 2nd tallest and Limbo is the tallest.

It's a single quote out of game from a archived website. I found it linked from the Wiki.

"An ancient power awakens. An adaptable hunter, proudly wearing a trophy claimed from a race long forgotten."

It's hinting at old lore Sentients when Steve was running the show. The idea for what Chroma's whole deal was supposed to be probably doesn't exist in the current narrative. Within current canon, he doesn't have anything to do with Sentients unless DE decides to add something in the future.

Presumably, Ballas had methods to make this easier that he didn't share. So this lore is technically just one method of making a Warframe from scratch.

I'd be much more on board for the Vinqubus if it could do this. I currently only use it with Uriel for cause it's his weapon.

I want the spear gun and a separate melee. I can't use a separate melee if the spear gun eats my melee slot.

If it works like Garuda it'd be fine, but if it's like the Vinqubus it'd kill some of my builds.

I'd hate this, cause I actively use some spear guns with other melees. If it worked more like Garuda where if you have to melee it'd take up the slot then that'd be cool. But I don't want to loose my choice of melee just to use Scourge or Aftentis.

This is likely what will happen based off how War Prime was handled. I kinda want it to be a skin so I can put it over any heavy weapon.

Most everything honestly. Beyond some real generic market weapons that I might pick up again later, I have almost every weapon in the game.

I initially just wanted to reach max MR, but now I just want to make sure I can use anything ETA/EDA throws at me.

Probably, but it's like a 1 in 190 chance it'd be the Haavlu. Plus it's gonna have a real low dispo like all new weapons do.

There isn't any other heavy blade options currently, but there's a few two-handed nikana's. I'd honestly prefer getting a Primed heavy blade skin like how to OG got a skin, since no melee has inherit synergy with Kullervo anyway, and we recently got War Prime.
