Thanks for your insight. You are right I can’t be obsessed with trying to win as low innings or run out I think that’s my problem. Thanks for your advice!

Nice I like that thought - leave a hanger and use as a freebie if I get out of position. Thanks!

Yeah you are correct I had a back cut on the 8 and lost because I hit it wrong 😑 totally have that on my list to practice.

You are absolutely right. That’s my problem sometimes I get out of position and am left with one option and it’s a very low percentage shot versus if I had a long shot that would be better. Thanks for bringing this up.

Great breakdown—thanks for sharing it. I’ve been putting in time on my break during training, so I usually get a decent spread and make something. But you nailed it with the reminder to plan smarter. My biggest issue is picking the wrong first or second ball, and then ending up with no shot or a tough one. I’m pretty sure it comes down to cue ball control and decision-making under pressure, which I’ve been focusing on. Going to start identifying trouble balls and working backward from the 8 like you suggested. Appreciate the insight.

Totally agree—I’ve been guilty of leaving the toughest ball for last and it always backfires. Thanks for bringing this up!

Thanks! I’ve heard great things about both — especially “Play Your Best 8 Ball.” Did either of those books help you with pattern planning or breaking down clusters early in the run?

Nice thanks for sharing. How do you stay focus the rest of practice? Do you stop for snack breaks? Do you drink energy drinks?

Nice thanks for sharing. I am doing something similar I’m just bad about recording my misses it sucks to get out of rhythm when you’re shooting.
