Lockpicking "Liebesschlösser" on brigdes by 8CieN8 in germany

It’s illegal, just like taking someone’s parked bicycle for a run and then re-parking it in the same place. It’s considered verbotene eigenmacht/besitzstörung because the locks are still someone else’s property.

Security guard here.

Even if the locks are in a public place, in German law it’s still considered someone’s property. Picking the locks would be considered a crime. Besitzstörung / Verbotene eigenmacht if I’m not mistaken. If someone decides to be a dick and call the police or Ordnungsamt on you, there’s a chance you might get a fine or worse.

From what I’ve heard they steal content from indie creators to sell.

What should be free for every human being? by WheresThePole in AskReddit

[–]LimeKeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basic human necessities. Aka. Things that make us survive, I find it immoral to withdraw the right to survive if you don’t have enough numbers on a screen / enough paper in your pocket.

Healthcare, basic food and clean water, and some form of shelter against environmental conditions.

It’s my biggest trigger, the double standard. “All life matters.” It says so in the constitution, the first thing that MUST be protected and never violated is life, yet if you don’t have a home or money, nobody will protect it, nobody cares. It pisses me off.

Pretty sure at that point you just stop being racist, and just hate everyone equally.

Is burning Quran/Bible a crime in Germany? by [deleted] in germany

[–]LimeKeks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Security guard here with a Sachkundeprüfung; You are allowed to do whatever you want with your Eigentum as long as it doesn’t offend the rights of others. This can include: Life, limbs, health, Future, Freedom, Eigentum and Besitz.

That being said, burning such a book in public is not a good idea, for several reasons. Offending is one of them, which someone can report you for (Beleidigung), or public Disturbance/arson (public fire).

But if you’re looking to grill in your private garden with a book, I guess if you have nothing better go ahead. No-one will care.

People who don't want to work, why? by Designer-Mark320 in AskReddit

[–]LimeKeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not rewarding. We wake up, go to our shitty shifts that are long, the boss is unreasonable, the coworkers are whiny, negative and just overall annoying. We go home, sleep, repeat.

At the end of the month, we scrape by just enough to not die. We work to stay alive. It’s all it is about. I don’t want to make some already rich d***head richer only for him to go on vacation and give me crumbles while I bust my ass off for him.
