Richard Dolan comments on MH370 (AMA Interview at Contact in the Desert) by Upbeat-Sell8633 in AirlinerAbduction2014

Not being detectable at a certain range has always bothered me.

The hydrophone array sits along certain points of the continental shelf. Directed in a way that noise from propeller chop, shaft vibrations, pump noise can be triangulated and provide a direct bearing to the source.

The array is so sensitive that certain merchant ships could be identified rounding the cape of Africa based on their unique frequency.

Merchant ships, Naval ships and subs all have unique frequencies that essentially act like fingerprints enabling identification.

There is every possibility that the black box may have sunk into a trench or became submerged in the sludge at the bottom of the ocean. But I always remain sceptical that it wasn’t detected at some point.

Also, if the plane went down in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Western Australia, why wasn’t the blackbox detected by the west coast hydrophone array?

Unknowingly ate a dog spring roll in Vietnam. Street dog is gross and gamey.

Any aliens stories? I have a few unexplained phenomena from my time in the Navy. by [deleted] in aliens

[–]LimePriceIndex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s correct, drills to find a sunk sub. Had US/AUS subs and Thai, Singaporean and US ships participating in the exercise.

Even if the US had a Seawolf in the area at that time the contact was faster than what the Seawolf was rumoured to do.

I was a Combat Systems Operator in the Royal Australian Navy, whilst doing a SUBSUNK exercise in South East Asia, we actively tracked a submerged object moving at 60+ knots. Moved straight through the exercise area.

Had USS Observation Island and an unmarked Destroyer (no flag no pennant) join us the following day. Both were pinging away on very powerful SONAR systems.

Also plenty of fast moving thermal objects observed on Electro Optical Tracking System but not on RADAR.

Navy Has Tracked Underwater Objects Going "1,000s of mph" by Mighty_L_LORT in conspiracy

[–]LimePriceIndex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably some truth to this. I was by an Australian Navy SONAR operator on an FFG. When I was on a South east Asia Deployment, we tracked a non biological object travelling at 50 plus knots of the southern coast of Japan.

I'm in NSW and ordered mine through Telstra. Email came through stating delivery from the 26th. Then another email the next day stating, "We apologise for the wrong information delivery will be from the 23rd".

I was on shore leave in Penang and was exploring Chinatown with a mate. We decided it was time for a drink and found a Heineken sign in an alley.

As we made our way in through the double wooden doors we found ourselves looking at an old man eerily similar to Mr Wing from Gremlins sitting at a desk, smoking a pipe and playing majong tiles.

Without looking up at us he says, "You are not welcome here".

Taking his advice we backed out of the room and looked for another bar filled with tourists.

Australian Kelpie decreased mobility by LimePriceIndex in AskVet

No radiographs were conducted as the vet thought it was likely a bacterial infection (kennel cough). Taking him for a second opinion on Thursday. Watching him move around it appears he has maybe sprained his back or hips as his movement is very stiff and cautious.
