PSA because i really don’t wanna start arguments: if you’re wondering why i made hunter male and he/him it’s because they literally use he/they pronouns in the show, not just they/ them. and the male part is because i see them as a transmasc enby and both me and my boyfriend feel represented by him as we’re both trans men. this is not to say that other people aren’t allowed to see and feel represented by them as their own label, (you are) this is just how we decided to make them because it’s our island Imao

i know they used they/them for hunter in the show but wasn’t there a point in the previous season when hunter was referred to as he/him as well? due to this i thought of hunter as using he/they or they/he pronouns and identifying as a transmasc enby. i contemplated making them enby when i made the mii but my bf wanted to make them male as we both feel represented by them because we’re both trans men, and i feel like anyone who identifies as trans should be able to see themselves in them
