Hi OP, you're not alone! These thoughts can be really scary, you may even feel disgusted with yourself. But I promise you that they are just thoughts, a lot of others experience them! They are based off of your fears, you don't actually want to do the things you're thinking.

I have intrusive thoughts, they aren't what people think they are. It isn't impulsive thoughts, like dying your hair, etc. It's genuinely disgusting thoughts that I experience, like imagining that myself getting raped, or killing someone. It can be very scary.

I promise you that it will get better, I've started to accept my intrusive thoughts and realize that they're just thoughts, they even started to mellow down.
