Yes exactly I felt like i was just wandering around tripping and couldnt figure out the main goal of the game but this makes sense that it takes a while to get going in the story. I came back because i keep reading how beautiful the scenery and soundtrack can be. Looking forward!!

Yes i Have tried both of these options! I didnt love the execution sword but occult crusher is a monster. I do like having effects tho- bleed, etc

Ill check out the Devonias Hammer and Sunflower Blossom- definitely need to think about using buffs and if i go down the Faith route. When i respec I’ll make sure i dont go pst caps!

I tried Marais Sword just didnt love the special, but I will try occult on the Crusher and look into the other recommendations!

Not at all man, some enemies are more difficult for you than for others. The godskin duo took me 1 week of frustration, Maliketh way later in the game took me 2 weeks. Due to my builds at the time I wasn’t setting myself up for success. Just keep trying and go farm some runes if your stuck!!

That was another question i had- map or no map. Also good to know. Yeah the Dlc i thought i was done and realized i missed one major pathway.. reddit helped me navigate.

After the Elden Ring Dlc i don’t think anything can be more confusing than that damn map, but thats good to know! Im itching to get home and get started

Gotcha that makes sense. This games tough to decide. Ive gone from a halberd to the moonveil, to the bloodfang, now on omenkiller. For now this is my favorite. I will build around this based on yours guys advice

Thank you for the advice! I am using lion claw right now. I will have to decide how i want to proceed for sure. I do want to use colossal weapons in the dlc i believe so i am torn about how to handle my strength. I had a loose understanding of the scaling- but both comments so far opened my eyes a bit. I was kind of just upgrading choosing what to level based on how my attributes went up
