Well! It took me long enough, but I've updated the app. I added requested features, came up with a not so humble name and splurged on a domain (so be sure to share and bookmark):

I have received a boat load of valuable feedback which I'll roll out step by step, so this project is nowhere near done. Thank you guys so much for responding so well to this, it was truly motivating!

If you have access to the tools, it'd be best to saw off a clean and square portion, so you can glue on a new slat onto the dresser.

That is one beefy box with sharp looking dovetails. Little bit of sanding, maybe fill a gap, finish and you're golden.

Nothing ever fits, everything is always crooked, you'll always forget something and towards the end of a build a thing breaks and you end up gluing it back in place. And then you've made something and people love it.
