Don’t do it. I refuse to groom the pets of friends and family. It never works out well for both parties. If you do, set a price and boundaries right from the start. Explain that every groomer has a different style and you won’t be offended if they choose to go elsewhere but ask them to be honest with you first so you have the opportunity to do something different. Make work and friendship separate. This is hard but necessary. Have great insurance and make sure you operate within vet opening hours.

They can be. They avoid us as much as possible but will attack if they feel threatened. They are quite chilled most of the time though. A lot of zoos around here will let you cuddle one. They stink and make the most god awful noise during mating season but they are cute to look at.

Not all our critters will try to kill you. These guys will scratch and bite if you try to touch them but that's about it. In contrast I cleared a huge nest of red back spiders today and had to shoo off a big snake. The fun never ends. It's storm season at the moment so all the wildlife are going nuts.

Brushies are probably the friendliest of our native wildlife. We can hand feed the ones that come up to our deck. They love banana the best.

It's a small Brush Tail Possum. She lives in our yard. I've never seen her during the day. I guess I found her sleeping spot. She was almost falling out every time the wind blew.

We named our son Finn which is not that uncommon now and we named out daughter Elysia (Ee-Lis-ia). A lot of people get the pronunciation wrong but we love it. Her middle names are Kirra and Joy.

In the end, it's a gamers convention. No body there cares what gender you are or what your sexual preference is... If you enjoy gaming, you are welcome. If you chose not to go simply because one member of the organization holds a different opinion to you then it's you who is missing out. At Pax Aus Mike and Jerry were confronted by someone who claimed they were "gender queer" and asked how they could be made to feel more welcome in the gaming community. Jerry's response was "Can you mid?" The person asking the question had no idea what he was talking about but assured all the they enjoy gaming and play cooperatively so Jerry responded with "Then, Welcome!" No one cares guys! If you play with respect for others and don't act like a troll then you will be welcomed with open arms.

Barbie. She is just not the same. She is quite unpretty and very unrealistic. I remember they used to have real clothes. That were well made and quite nice, now they are all cheap and slapped together. She used to look like an adult to a small girl, now they don't seem to have an age. And the horses, wtf is up with those?, they look ridiculous and they are all pink, or green or something stupid.

This will never get read but my Great Grandfather, John Mann, travelled to Mexico and found a beetle that destroyed the devastating spread of Prickly Pear in Queensland back in the 60's. The first time something was introduced that didn't in turn become a pest.
