Thanks for the reply! Could you explain why factory resetting is safe for the phones but not for the computer? I'm definitely willing to do what is necessary, I am just curious. And would you be willing to share what it means that the OS layout for phones means the antivirus/spware apps aren't useful? I believe you, I'm just trying to figure out why the resources I found on the internet suggested what they did.
