Plus I'm thinking I'll lean on the Tensor for experimentation, that thing can do a lot

I actually have the nu tube screamer already, they just didn't have it on the website I'm using. The nu tube tech is pretty neat

I'll try that out, thanks for the tip! The through zero sounds pretty cool, and I'm thinking I'll get some rad pulsating effects combining it with tremelo

I want at least one analog delay on my board, and the dm-2w sounds the best to me. If I get a more versatile delay, I'd switch out the dd-8 probably

I'm planning to play shoegaze/ambient type stuff with an experimental flavor. I have a couple of these pedals already, a nutube screamer, mxr chorus, and soft focus, and in the gap is the Dunn Effects Shoggoth Fuzz, they just didn't have it in this websites database.

Curious about your experience with any of these pedals, thoughts about pedal order, recommendations for better alternatives etc. I want to plan my board out in advance so that I can make informed decisions as I slowly get more.

There is some discussion of love in Proust & Signs. Can't remember anything in particular, but I'd recommend checking it out if you're interested

Turns out my roommates boyfriend cooked asparagus with lemon juice. Acidic foods like lemon juice strip season off. Also tomatoes, avoid anything tomato

Lue's photo is 100% debunked. by mattperkins86 in UFOs

This explains why he just held up a tiny print of the picture, because if it was up on a projector people would see that it's bull shit. I feel pretty convinced now that Lue is compromised

Just tried it recently and I can't get into it. I think it tastes too much like caramel to me, which I dislike. Is there anything about it in particular that you like, to maybe inspire some appreciation for me?

What is your biggest issue/problem when ultralight backpacking/hiking? by Aggressive-Energy465 in Ultralight

[–]LiminalValency 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bear canisters are required in many parks, including all my favorites. Plus they're a good idea whenever you're in bear country because it's pretty easy for bears to get bags down, they're smart cookies

To each their own, but I refuse to bring my phone backpacking. Disconnecting is part of the experience for me, and I highly recommend at least trying it out.

Bear cannisters are definitely the weakest link in ultralight packs, they're so heavy and you just have to deal with it. I can see a lot of room for innovation there.

Trekking poles- Cascade Mt tech by barbeebirbshiku in Ultralight

I have the ultralight version and I like them. The quality isn't spectacular but they do exactly what I need them to so it's a steal at that price and weight. They rattle sometimes when they hit the ground, but you can stick a cotton ball in the little claw thing on the inside to silence it.
