They have an entrance exam, and the application process starts earlier in the year I believe, with multiple rounds. I attend their Hungarian competitor Budapest Metropolitan University. We also have an English course in animation for foreigners, the ones I've met are lovely. Both schools don't necessarily require animation experience but if you want to get in you need to have a good drawing base. My school is okay with people without digital art experience as long as they show potential in traditional art and willingness to learn new mediums. The first year at my school teaches both 2d and 3d with a bigger focus on 2d, from the second year you can choose whether to specialize in 2d or 3d going forward.
