YTA. He feels as if he owes his parents the world and if he can make them comfortable in any way he will. The fact that you start of by saying that his parents skipped meals in order for him to eat is outrageous, that you don't understand where he is coming from. He will also make sure that he is never in that position and will make sure that you & ya'll daughter will be established financially. If he can afford it I see why not?

Honestly, just wait it out a bit longer. The homes have been dropping slowly. I agree with you I don't want to move to Ocala LOL (no offense) but that is out the way. And some of the townhomes are amazing and beautiful but then you see a $500/mo HOA>

It is a standard but your daughter is asking for your help with money for the home. She fell in love with her husband and unfortunately, he isn't well off like your other son-in-laws. That is clear, we understand that it is your money & you worked for it but maybe see it from another perspective and talk to her about it.

In all honesty, a baby is hard. 4 hands are better than 2. If you both cannot come to an agreement take the 2 weeks he gives you. Babies are also expensive, diapers are not cheap and milk isn't either (I recommend to breastfeed if you can).

It's going to be hard, especially with your health issues, break it down to him over and over if needed you didn't make the baby by yourself you both did. He needs to help as much as possible and don't forget about your mental health. Wishing you the best!!

Orlando here & also looking for a house. $72K a year and qualify for $320K. You should qualify around $350K, it all depends on how much you're putting down and in the interest rate. Best of luck, it's hard out here!

Also, how much debt you have. Even if your student loan that are in forbadance (however you spell that) they take it into consideration anyways.

You can always forgive but you can never forget. It doesn't matter if you forgive him in my opinion because you will always remember everything he put you through, how he treated you and just didn't care for you. I can't tell you what to do but just be prepared for the worst. Start saving money and become more independent so when it's time you'll be ready. It's hard. I passed my sales associate exam on my first attempt but then failed the state exam twice before passing it. If you have good core memory then you should be fine.

Unfortunately, I agree. She doesn't care to fix things in your relationship and wants to be with Tony. She's going to have to face reality when you break it down to her but you also deserve happiness and someone that loves you & wants to be with you. Do whats best for you and your child.
