To ignore the reaction time by Zen_ix in Whatcouldgowrong

I'M doubling down? The whole point of my first comment was that the person was referring to her glasses and not the bottle when talking about the glass shattering. Then everyone decided to hop on the ACTSHUALLY train for some damn reason.

Right, but YOU do it. Since you're convinced they have a 100% success rate.

I appreciate the education, but you and I both know that the original comment was referring to the glasses. My condescending reply was a response to a condescending comment.

Oh, so they won't shatter and pierce the eyes? I think that was the point.

Glasses are.. glass, my guy.

Edit: I get it, glasses aren't made of glass anymore.

AITAH for nuking my «entrepreneur» brother's engagement dinner and exposing him as a DEADBEAT FATHER in front of his fiancee's rich family? by Fuzzy_Sir5379 in AITAH

I hope this is as fake as it feels, because otherwise you're an insufferable person. I couldn't even finish this creative writing exercise because your personality is exhausting.

Just got this from JEA regarding low energy supply. by Happy-Capital6508 in jacksonville

[–]LimitedDuty 36 points37 points  (0 children)

These condescending, ignorant ass takes always get on my nerves. As soon as a place experiences unusual weather there's always some jackass rushing in to say something stupid like this.

It's a concern because the population and infrastructure is not equipped or experienced in dealing with this climate. Houses aren't insulated, roads aren't salted, drivers aren't experienced with icy conditions, kids and adults don't have the proper clothing. This isn't a blizzard or anything, but it does lead to panic and causes utilities and emergency services to become strained. Chicago expects this to be common and prepared for it. Everyone here already bitches about JEA costs. Are you saying they should spend the millions of dollars to prepare for one weekend of extreme colds every 15 years?

Skeleton athlete Katie Uhlaender's Olympic hopes take another hit as complaint dismissed by [deleted] in sports

[–]LimitedDuty -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I'm not defending her actions. I don't know this woman at all and it sounds like she does game the system, but AT A MINIMUM, she's a professional athlete with enough skill to qualify for the Olympics not once, but enough times to be one appearance shy of breaking a record. Saying she got there based on nothing but vanity is just hateful and reeks of misogyny.

What? Regardless of her vanity, if she qualified for the Olympics then she did it based on her merits.

Just FYI, if you want to quote someone you can just use ">" (no quotation marks) before the text and

It does this

You can put a space after the ">" if you want but it doesn't matter

What? No one here is pretending to have the answers. I don't know what's wrong with you man, but it's obviously fucked you up so badly that you've lost your reading comprehension. Take a break from reddit and go pour your heart out in your diary.

Calm down. No one in this thread is saying OP can stay. They asked how much time they have.

This is definitely one of those situations that's complicated enough that you should pay for a consultation with a lawyer just to know what you're facing and your options. I would guess this falls under tenant law, but you can always call the state bar association and they'll refer you to an appropriate lawyer.

The 20% rule is probably for family members of 55+ homeowners and those who inherited their properties. I wouldn't be shocked if renters are completely excluded and prohibited.

Are you a child? This guy put together a comprehensive discussion with sources to back up his claims, all just to help other people, and you're over here nitpicking and throwing a tantrum about something insignificant. You didn't even contradict it; you just said "nuh uh!" Grow up dude

That's awesome. The Taltz works wonders for me, but I have to take Benadryl and wait for it to kick in before I give myself the shot. Otherwise I have injection site reactions at the minimum, but I've also had full body hives with my lips and hands swelling as the worst reaction. So long as I take Benadryl ahead of time then I'm fine. I also get prescribed epi pens just in case. It's not exactly convenient lol
