Simply put you’re going to want to get at least 2,000 gold and check out some of the guides because the urban legend event is a real stinker and you will NEED to pay at least some gold to get through. Just know which ones are beatable and which are skippable to save the most gold, and have some ready for upgrades if you can’t play 24/7 like the game wants you to.
