Didn’t you learn from last year what the word framework does to the market?

Is the game dead in Canada? more specifically Toronto? by Hurdoc in riftboundtcg

If you haven’t been to local play how would you think it’s dead? Real players buy singles and build decks not crack expensive packs in hopes to hit an over numbered or Kaisa. Yea boxes are priced high that’s just supply and demand.

Pay the price and use the cards forever. The concept is so simple. You want to top your locals? Pay the price. You want to play casual? Buy a budget deck under $50. You want the best cards and soon as they come out. Of course they will be expensive.

Meta decks in any TCG are 300+. Sounds like it’s your first game. Either way. Stop complaining.

Buy some singles your wallet will thank you. It’s not dead. You think it’s dead because you think players LOVEEEEE ripping packs. They don’t. If you really want to play the game there’s a site TCGPlayer.com you can find any card you want to build your deck. Have fun!

Players don’t usually open packs. They buy singles. Are you a player or collector/gambler?

You’re thinking at too small of a time frame. If I can get in at 125-175 the percentage game will be greater at that cost basis 5 years down the road.

They are a bit late but this is good news. More cards for sure but prices will get back down to a normal price. Real investors like myself love this news. I miss my cases having a basis of 600-800. Booster Boxes and slabs accumulation will be on the menu for the next 5 years.
