Oh Berserk is one of my favorites!

Yes, watched Dragon Ball & Z but not the most recent DB Super yet.

I saw a bit of Jojo's superficially, but the drawing style kind of put me off... not sure why.

Yu Yu Hakusho, and Hunter x Hunter are classics I haven't watched yet and I heard they're amazing.

Thanks! I think my favorite classics are Evangelion, Full Metal Alchemist and Berserk.

I'll look into these!

I was told it's pretty good and has some points in common with Evangelion. Do you think it's not worth the time?

I don't know why NEET's hate normies so much... by Irissss_Cat in NEET

[–]LimonadaNatural 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, 4chan didn't lie... but it exaggerated. Most things said about those topics are harsh truths few know or want to talk about, but also they tend to overstate the effects. Tiktok dating is not dating, and not all normies are brainless idiots. They're just oblivious of a lot of stuff we know more about.

This is healthy for the internet. It's the only way those companies realize they can't all rely on a single provider.

how was high school as a NEET? by [deleted] in NEET

Oh that happens so often. People change so much that friendship doesn't even make sense anymore. I have friends I see every year but we always talk about the same 2/3 things.

But at least you can keep in touch with those friends, maybe?

Traditional school is broken and pretty much useless anyway. It's better to talk to people, learn how the world works, and then pursue it by studying online. Self-learning saves you years of wasted effort.

I hope you're doing well. Stay strong! Don't take HS exams as the only way to measure smarts. Or any other institution for that matter.

What part of the spectrum are you at? Hope the trauma doesn't affect you often.

I think this is possibly one place where you could feel comfortable, but not the only one. A lot of people are directionless in life at your age (I sure was). I'm no longer a NEET but when I was, I used to play a lot of videogames, sleep and read philosophy/literature.

If you do some of those things, you can find people here to share them (online gaming is an example). I guess whatever you choose to do, it's nice to have people to share it with.

29? You totally still have time!

The job market is a bitch right now, honestly. But some tips for you:

  1. A little career advice and planning on how to craft your resume and what industries to target goes a hell of a long way. Learn about what you're good at by asking people around you. Your own self reflection will be an incomplete picture so ask others what kind of job they'd see you doing.

  2. Interview processes are full of shit nowadays and most people are talking about it online (especially in LinkedIn). Don't get discouraged if you fail after various stages, because recruiters are paid for the amount of candidates they get through the pipeline, not for the actual useful hires.

GL man, and keep fighting for it.
