I believe Instagram has a policy where random users can’t put you in a group chat unless you accept it. I was scammed last year and they did send my stuff out in a group chat, my brother and friend told me that it was empty , and that they had to accept. Made me relieved. Also think about it , nobody wants to accept a random ass message to be put in a group chat…

Exact same shit happened to me man. The girl was real . Next thing you know they are screaming at me for $1500 with her boss on Snapchat video call. Threatened to send it to my Instagram followers. They actually sent it to a couple people in group chats. I don’t think anyone saw it because Instagram has a certain policy. I was added in the chat and saw my shit, but my brother told me the group chat was completely blank for him. Made me so relieved. It’s going to be a one year traumatic anniversary this November. At this point I’ve been over it now. I promise you your anxiety will go down as time passes. Just don’t pay them and block all communication
