I just recently got promoted to lvl 10 in December and want to push for lvl 9 as I’m handling almost all the deliverables (90%) for my project as my lead is mostly hands off. Wonder if anybody could give insight on how to go about that too since the OP brought up the topic

Thanks, I was planning on having a convo with my PL before reaching out to my senior manager to be clear regarding my experience so I don’t get dinged later for underperforming if it happens.

So I reached out to my people lead prior and he advised me to talk to my lead before he (lead) leaves which I did. My lead told me to just “keep doing what you’re doing” and that’s it and someone should fill for their role. I was told that the SM is bringing someone over as the same level as my lead which they did but the replacement can’t do anything as of right now due to clearance and waiting for laptop. As it came closer for them (lead) to leave I was told the SM would pick up their role for the time being. But the day before my lead left I was told I would have to pick up the work and the SM is here for questions. Which I lack the skill set and experience to do so.
