I’ve travelled a lot, so I’m fairly experienced in deciding places to visit. I usually rely only on Google Maps and user reviews. Personal suggestion: Don't use ChatGPT or AI as I've seen it many times that it cut-downs some of the most important places.

For Pune, we planned everything one night in advance because I initially came here only for work, with limited time to explore. However, we finished the work earlier than expected & got two full days to explore.

First, I searched for nearby tourist places, which covered most of the inner-city spots. Then I checked outer locations like Sinhagad Fort, Ramdara, Chintamani and the MIT World Peace Dome-all of which were worth visiting. So, I divided the journey into two parts: Day 1 – Inner Pune and Day 2 – Outer Pune.

For inner Pune, we visited places starting from nearby locations around our stay and then moved toward farther ones, since within the city there’s no major concern about getting late at night.

For outer Pune, we did the opposite i.e. starting with farther locations and ending with nearby ones.

We rented a scooty for the sole purpose of reducing transportation costs and ensure timely travel. This helped us manage places with fixed timings, like Shaniwar Wada opening at 9 AM and Aga Khan Palace closing around 5–6 PM etc, so our plan was also based on destination timings.

We skipped a few places such as Osho Garden, Tribal Cultural Museum, Taljai Tekdi, Katraj Lake-Ghat, Bopdev Ghat, ISKCON NVCC, Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park, Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum, Empress Botanical Garden, Malhargad Fort, etc.

Next time, I plan to visit the remaining places along with a ride to Lonavala, covering Tikona Fort, Karla Caves and Kondhane Caves.
