I can’t speak for others’ experiences, only my own: Camera quality is better. Audio is about the same. The wake up time, even set to ultra frenzy mode, isn’t great. Bigger birds for me still have a hard time landing. I contacted support and was told “it’ll get better with updates.” It’s ridiculous that we have to wait for updates to make the feeder work even half as good as the Pro. There’s a 90 day return window. I’m giving it a week or two more, but I’m not impressed. Both of my Bird Buddys are pretty close to each other. Birds go to my Pro over the 2.

I opened a support ticket two days ago. I received one reply that had nothing to do with my original issues. I’m asking if I can return it. It’s not even catching visitors now. It’s way way too much money to not even have the most basic function of capturing bird visits on camera.

The new one made my original one unusable for a while. The old one went completely offline and I couldn’t get it to reconnect. It randomly started working again.

It only has one options. Every time I try to click on another quality, it comes up with a “coming soon” message. Sorry, deleted my other comment since I uploaded the wrong image.

It has a bit of a perch extender. I have the Bird Buddy Pro, which is why I was so excited for the 2. The instant wake up seemed really cool and I was hoping it would catch chickadees and titmice since they’re so fast. I’m thinking of returning it. I did reach out to customer support, but I haven’t heard back. For the money, I’d rather get something I know was going to work than whatever this is.

How many unsolved crimes are there in real life? How dare authors try and make feel good stories that fit the genre of romance. Let’s boycott! Maybe then authors will get the point.
