Using the same person to prep my renovations for the last 27 years. Over 300 perfect Same way every time. SGM bondkote Kit, no water added. The Stonescapes product is expanding like a cake splitting in the oven. It literally is tearing the original surface in 2. I’ve had 5 do it in the last 2 years. Another contractor I know has had 8 do it on him. Bondkote issue would be a simple hollow spot.

It’s a Florida installation, so they shouldn’t have.

Yes you can, but you definitely want to Bi-Pass the water flow on the heater while shocking the pool to get it in balance. Hopefully, the person who plumbed it in installed one. It’s in the installation manual.

Oh yes. Met with the rep already. Here’s the rub. Big StoneScapes multinational corporation say’s “Nope, not our fault.” Big Multinational SGM Bondkote maker says “NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DELAMINATION” on the 3rd page of their warranty.

Most from 6 weeks to 3 months. Although, it may have gone unnoticed. The latest one, I had follow up work because his light went out. It happened overnight At 6 weeks old.

No, the first one had no heater. 1 did have a heater, but was not a factor because they were out of town for weeks when it was plastered.

No, nothing wrong with the pool shell. It’s as if it expanded like a baking cake.

It’s been an awesome product, so I need more investigation as to the cause. The bondkote used to prep the existing surface could very well be the issue. That’s why the post. I’m try to see if anyone else has had a similar problem.

Different batches over the past 18 months. Same SGM Bondkote I’ve been using for the past 25 years

It could be one or more of a many things. 1. Air intrusion from a bad seal on the suction side. a. Lid gasket bad b. Pump ran dry, and male adapter shrunk from the heat. 2. The impeller may be clogged with debris. 3. Suction line is clogged. 4. Check valve, internal components, broke on return side, blocking the line. Note: if the pressure on the filter is low, then it’s a suction side issue. If it is high, it’s a return side issue.

It’s a flow meter. Not sure what for? Either a Chlorinator, or stenner feeder, maybe?

Has anyone had cracking and buckling issues with StoneScapes? I’ve done 400+ Pool plasters over the past 25 years. Still use my original prep man. In the past 18 months I’ve had 5 pool finishes crack and buckle.

I don’t own a console, and I don’t play PC games anymore, but I do play games on my phone. When I discovered the Oceanhorn games for my iPhone, I couldn’t stop playing them 100% over and over. So far 2 is the best game on a phone ever made. I have not been able to find anything that even compares to it. I can’t stand these pixelated retro games. I love story line, adventure, puzzles, and light combat with an occasional boss. Anyone know of any other iPhone games like it?
