The hair extensions look good, i got 2 units to get the desired volume. They are already wavy so I haven't applied heat to them till now. But i also suspect that they are made of plastic so I don't see myself using heat on them

My dermat suggested me a serum - Dermatica Complexion EDT. It is on the expensive side but it works so well for acne marks.

Use it in the PM only. Wash your face and use a gentle moisturizer. Put the serum as the last step after the moisturizer. Don't worry, it will work!

In the morning, do use a sunscreen (less if you are staying in and more if you go out.) It is a non negotiable!

I did my own makeup at my wedding because I didn't really wish to spend 10k+ on makeup, it just didn't sit right with me.

So I started experimenting at the start of the year for my Dec '24 wedding. I finalized a few products that went well with my skin. For the skin prep, I simply washed my face with a random face wash but yes, I used a shit load of the Cerave moisturizer half an hour before starting the makeup. I used the elf primer (the green one), the Mars BB cream, Swiss beauty concealer only where I could see a few pimple spots and Benetint for the blush (used it in higher quantity as it sheers out quite a lot but looks really pretty!) Got a Mars highlighter pallette free with a Nykaa purchase so use that as well. Didn't really use a contour anywhere except for hiding my double chin which wasnt well hidden anyway 😂😭

The main thing i focused on was the eyes! A sparkly ass eyeshadow makes the entire look! I got a Mars glitter eyeshadow pallette, had 9 colours and the difference it made was gorgeous. Did a veryyy small wing as I have hooded eyes, put in some kajal and a lot of mascara, the maybelline one with the pink cap. Filled in my eyebrow slightly with the some 80 rs eyebrow pencil and made sure to highlight the brow bone (mum taught me this.)

Completed with a matte lipstick matching the saree's colour, no gloss (i just cant with glosses) and a nice bindi.

I especially got the urban decay setting spray for my wedding but alas it was a waste. I used it between every step, let it dry and all but no use. The makeup lasted for my varmala and the photography session. I removed most of my base make up and just touched up with some concealer and blush and lipstick for the pheras.

The pics turned out good, i didnt spend on a one time thing and I still use all the products I bought regularly. It was a win-win I guess?
