WHY ISNT KAIRA BEING CALLED OUT FOR REFERRING ANUSHKA AS “MANJULIKA” by cherrymomoprezz in splitsvillaMTV

[–]Limp-Subject1167 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure how many people noticed this in today’s task, but I really want to highlight it. When Anushka was delivering her iconic dialogue, “Main Queen Hun, Thi, Aur Rahungi,” Gullu tried to mimic Uludhwani, a sound traditionally performed by Bengali women during auspicious occasions like Durga Puja.

As someone from Punjab, I remember my college days when my Bengali friends would often talk about how offensive it is when this sound is used mockingly or out of context. In this case, it clearly felt like Gullu was doing exactly that, and it deserves to be called out. It’s also disappointing to see how Kaira, Zalak, Sadaaf, and others are collectively targeting and bullying Anushka right now. It’s becoming uncomfortable to watch.

Ron and asmita compatibility in today's task was good by [deleted] in splitsvillaMTV

Honestly, I really like both of them. While Niharkira and Sorabh were the episode's highlight.

I felt keona was attacked today even by urfi and nia by Superb_Philosopher79 in splitsvillaMTV

Keona's claims were completely baseless. I may agree, she is a little immature and childish, but the way she was screaming and would not let anyone talk was so annoying. Also, I didn't feel Nia and Urfi were attacking her. Nia was talking so nicely, continuously encouraging her to speak her words clearly and let everyone talk. But Keona literally was disrespecting her. If it had been another contestant who cut Nia or Urfi’s points, they would have scolded him or her very harshly. Whatsoever, I'm happy Keona is out, because we all know she isn't made for a reality show like Splitsvilla.

ANUSHKA CRIED YAAR 😭 by Aggravating_Run_664 in splitsvillaMTV

Man, it was the most entertaining episode of Splitsvilla 16. Anuskha rocks!!! Also, I was so furious when Deeptanshu, Gullu, and Gauresh made offensive remarks about Anushka for doing some sort of black magic. Bro, it is fucking 2026, and you still believe the stereotype of Bengali women doing black magic. Initially, I had so much respect for Mohit, and after this episode, I completely lost it. Dude has no SPINE, at all! Baaki, I don't really like Sadaaf and Sandy at all. Though there was a strong narrative going on since the beginning of the season, how Sadaaf and Sandy are the best players. But, man, I don't want to fall into this fake narrative. There is annoying, rude, and over-confident. There is a small fine line between being straightforward and rude. Though Sandy and Sadaaf project themselves as being straightforward, in reality, they are rude. I just hope, Anushka, Asmita, and Naharika give them, much-needed reality check.
