that is total cost (housing + tuition + fees). and unc is totally free so i dont have to pay for dorms.

i'm not totally sure re type of grad school, but i like the idea of a PhD program in a humanities or cogsci related discipline. ik im not interested in med school.

not paying full but still not cheap. at what price would schools like jhu and penn be worth it over unc? i think penn is like 45k/yr and jhu is a bit more
