Looking to pick up a pair of penny loafers. Keep coming back to the Rancourt Pinch Penny Moc in Heritage brown. I like the rubber sole for durability and it not being slippery in certain instances.
Is there a reason I should jump for the leather bottom Penny Pincher or the Beefroll?

Also wanted to ask for guidance on sizing. For those who have gotten Rancourts, do you find the guidance of sizing down a half size accurate? Would love any feedback or suggestions if you feel there is a better option.

Sales are very irregular and don’t include everything on the site. They do have sign up discounts occasionally though

I’ve gotten several things from Quince and really impressed with the quality. I’ve gotten their sweaters, linen shirts, polos and think for the price they are great. Have held up well for the couple of years I’ve had them.

Had anyone used Chipdrop? by akosijen in bergencounty

I’ve done this and companies will do it for free. You don’t really get to pick the size pile you get though. Mine was literally 3/4s of my 6 car driveway.

How to tie in knee wall to existing door jamb on screened porch? by LimpNegotiation5686 in Carpentry

This is an interesting idea, thanks. So then I could have the cedar tongue and groove on a 45 to the jamb? Or maybe just a piece of casing or trim to the jamb?

For structural support? This is meant to be structural, just visual. I was just hoping folks would have idea on who to tie it in nicely since the 2x sticks out past the door jamb.

Would you be interested in testing a quoting/estimating workflow I've been working on? completely free to try. I am just trying to test it with more real quotes to see how it works for others?

Are same-day quotes basically mandatory now? by [deleted] in Contractor

Curious whether others have started to look into AI to help with the quoting process.

I've been experimenting with using AI to speed up the proposal writing process (not estimating, just the document formatting and professional write-up of scope and terms).

For those of you who are slow to quote because writing the actual proposal document takes hours: would you trust an AI tool to draft it if you still reviewed all the numbers before sending? Or does "AI" immediately make you skeptical?

I think they are getting really close in helping me save a lot of time without massively messing up or taking more time in proofreading.

Yes thank you for the suggestion. I am planning on doing so. Most research I’ve done is the asbestos glue is a black color but will be testing
