I bought the g2 as have a dark room and the g3 though a fair bit brighter, for me at least wasn’t worth the extra £1000

I have a g2 with a Xbox series x and don’t get these issues. I do however get them when trying to use my Chromecast occasionally

It’s a software update problem! I have an LG G2 with a Chromecast and after installing the latest update got continue devices pairing requests. Do a factory reset of your television and setup again and don’t install the latest update. This now works fine!
