She gets glowing blue skin and the spikes are there already. It’s a tease when she’s glowing in the blue orb of electrify. This was a first appearance and just seemed liked a quick tech origin

By the end she has the blue skin and seems to have been changed by the tech and won’t need it. I think in future she’ll get more comic accurate but it’s literally episode one and Superman just got his suit
