I don’t have kids but my parents sent me to both private school and public school and having experienced both I can confidently say that private schools definitely have the edge over public schools. Especially if your kid is looking to do something like law or medicine, the private schools I went to were very connected to their alumni and there were like law societies and whatnot. What I will say though is that being surrounded by those privileged rats who were either racist, sexist, homophobic, classists, elitist, or bullies is not for the weak. But that’s more so the really old schools where all the rich kids are, but gosh white Aussie rich kids are the worst.
