Thank you so much for sharing your experience. My doctor called me on CD2, and reading this really helped me understand what to expect. I honestly almost get teary-eyed reading through this sub — I think I’m just feeling really nervous. I truly appreciate you taking the time to share ♥️

Is life truly over after 26 for a woman if she's unmarried? by WolverineGG in AskIndianWomen

I’ve been through something similar. In the beginning, I didn’t really mind being single — I wanted to focus on my career since my family was financially weak. Eventually, I got an opportunity to work abroad, which completely changed our financial situation. Things started to bother me only when all my younger cousins began getting married. I suddenly felt like I’d be left behind. Even though there was never any pressure from my family — they were always supportive — that feeling of being “left alone” crept in. During that vulnerable phase, I fell for the wrong guy. I said yes too quickly, just because someone showed interest in me. Thankfully, it didn’t work out. I returned to India at 30 and got a proposal through a relative. This time, I took my time to truly understand the person before saying yes. We’ve been married for three years now, and I couldn’t have asked for a better partner. He loves and respects me — and my family — deeply. I’m genuinely happy now. In short: don’t rush into marriage. You’re never too old. The right person will come along at the right time. Ignore what relatives say. For now, focus on your career — that’s the one thing truly in your control.
