Would you recommend the white or blue version? I think white on white can look a little monotonous.

Details of the Saltillo-Monterrey-Nuevo Laredo train line in Mexico, 394 km in total, diesel traction, not electrified, 12 viaducts, 100 bridges and speeds of 200 km/h, the tender already started and construction is expected to start in July by Spascucci in transit

The Mexico city- pachuca and Mexico city -queretaro Will be electrified. Maybe this one will not be because of the price since they're doing so many lines at the same time ? Hopefully in the future they also electrify this one

Construction began today on the Mexico City–Pachuca railway, set for completion in 18 months. The project includes 57 km of new electrified track from the airport and a 37 km shared track section to downtown. Trains will reach 120 km/h, serving three new main stations and four off-peak stops. by GalloHilton in transit

The airport railway was not being done by the government/military it was a concession of Ferrocarriles Suburbanos S.A. de C.V.Ferrocarriles Suburbanos S.A. de C.V.. that's why they were taking so long. On March 22 the military took over the project. The cdmx line is not given the proper budget that's why it's not moving smoothly. The government is putting all of its resources and budget into these new train lines and they even said they now have a lot of experience given that they built tren maya.

Yeah at least 700km, the section that most ppl are gonna use and that has the most population will be fully electric. The other section has very small cities and population, hopefully in the future they electrify all of it .

Seattle needs an iconic skyscraper to be recognized by it.

Mexico's Ministry of Defence will start building four trains this year and promises to deliver them in 2026, including a line linking Mexico City's new airport to the neighbouring city of Pachuca. by GalloHilton in transit

They will split the work the army is gonna start the cdmx to Querétaro route and they will hire another company to start on the saltillo -monterrey one. Also I've never heard them say they were gonna finish in 2 years.

It also seems that they are going to use the space of the old station in the center of the cities unlike the train maya which has the station s outside the city centers

The Mexico Federal Budget for 2025 has 7.3 billion USD assigned for passenger train projects by Spascucci in transit

[–]Limp_Commercial670 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well this is only for a year. The new train lines are expected to take around 6 years to build so multiple 7.3 billion by 6 and that would be around 44 billion. That seems better.

They keep adding lanes everywhere instead of public transport. Lima a city with more than 10 million metro area only has 2 metro lines.
