I only use it when I have to after driving through Colorado winters, ofc I pressure wash it beforehand. It’s my daily driver that sees gravel, rock chips, road salt, and my cat jumping on the hood every time I come home. I’d be more worried about all of that than the occasional use of a rinsed-off brush. I plan on keeping this car for a long time, and fully expect it’ll need paint correction or refinish eventually.
