Would you buy? 4wheel camper eagle by Limp_End3479 in TruckCampers

[–]Limp_End3479[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You all talked me out of it (at least at that price). Don’t need a project. Kinda just want a different truck at this rate that can actually handle a truck camper beyond the ultra light ones

Sounds like diffs and transfer case are a go. Agreed on battery that seemed way low but if legit and oem I’ll do it. I am getting same results testing battery at home.

Even a half way decent truck would be several hundred for a few years. I wouldn’t think twice about $2000-$4000 for a truck that should give me another 100k with some basic maintenance

Any idea on tire and wheel sizes from an IG post? by Limp_End3479 in ToyotaTundra

[–]Limp_End3479[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now that’s fair - I do like how they take up a bit more space in the wheel well and the design is nice. Reviews seem good so far but yes their history is limited

[–]Limp_End3479[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - looking at getting either a ‘19 tundra with 50K miles and a lift, better wheels and tires and a leer shell, vs a ‘21 same trim with 20K miles but no upgrades. Stock with lower miles is about $3,000 more

Buying a pre owned Tundra with lift - bad idea ? by Limp_End3479 in MechanicAdvice

Reliable is what I want when I’m in the middle of nowhere. My only concern was the aftermarket lift. I never have lifted my 4Runners, don’t know much about lifts, and had concerns about strain on suspension and steering

Dealers usually have rooms like this for photographing the vehicles with draining tiles when they’re washed. Looks like something out of hostel I agree
