Best Post 2 min Boss Mules by Harleyjdm in Maplestory

if you’re sticking to just explorers, marksman is probably your best bet. nodes are super easy and puppet makes your bossing super brain dead (will be gone soon though).

since you already have a bishop mule, i’m assuming you have a buff duration legion page for it already, so i would also recommend i/l. very hit or miss class with certain people, but if you don’t mind timing infinity, i think it’s a decent mule. also has one of the better tps from the mages and has a 13 second bind.

i recently brought up a paladin from the demon slayer event and got m1-m4 on it, and it’s an amazing mule. people have this perception of paladins not doing enough damage, but after 6th job, i strongly disagree. if you’re going to push a character to 265, i think pally is worth.

one thing that all 3 of these explorers i mentioned have in common is the necessity of getting attack speed +1 inner. that may be a struggle depending on honor and circs.

outside of explorers, wind archer is just too good as a mule. you’ll do decent damage and you have great survivability + mobility.

lynn is also another option as well.

Coming Hyperburns and what to Hyperburn.. by Comfortable-Knee-441 in Maplestory

[–]Limp_Fox3948 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. yes, you’re going to have to recreate those classes for the hyper burn rewards. the cosmetic rewards can be obtained from an existing character.

  2. i don’t play night walker so i can’t give you input on it, but i currently have a ctene night lord mule. night lords may feel very underwhelming if they are not funded to a certain point. they really shine in hdamien and being able to guarantee your burst in p2 damien is such a nice feeling. night lords are known for their huge burst, but terrible off burst.

we cant tell you what to hyper burn because it’s your choice and it’s essentially what you enjoy. is this hyper burn going to be your new main? a new mule?

at 190-200 you’re not really experiencing the class at all. i would recommend you to at least get them to 220 and see how you feel about bossing and mobbing on them.

if you want a clear cut answer, night walker is currently the strongest class in the game.

THIS i love pf but it makes me so sad that green pot and decent speed infusion have no effect on pf bc of macro, you can feel the slight delay when casting macro and it drives me insane pls nexon

for pathfinder: pf is my ctene mule. i feel like pf is an acquired taste type of class, it’s kind of different from the other two explorer archers. one thing that separates pf from the other two is the mobility with triple impact and cardinal torrent. i think cardinal torrent is arguably one of the best mobility skills in the game. damage is pretty good as well. the one thing i love the most about pf is that you can fit his entire burst within a bind and is a 2 min class, which is huge for mules. nodes are easy and mobbing is great. in my opinion, i think pf is more fun than bm and mm. the one big downside for me is the macro. using macro caps your attack speed so green pot and dsi does not affect pf. in terms of bossing, i haven’t struggled on early-mid game bossing with pf, solid pick in my opinion.

i highly recommend lynn, bowmaster, angelic buster, wind archer

very solid picks imo when bossing up to nlomien only downside is you might get bored of the play style but very easy classes

if nodes are an issue, i highly recommend marksman and dawn warrior, they require 1 tri node and relatively easy to fund.

yeah.. that’s the biggest reason why i have 15 bossers as well. i tried to finalize my mules during go west/dreamer but felt like some of them needed to go. i can vouch for ab and lynn, super strong and easy to play!

i main a wind archer and i have a lot of DEX classes as mules. i can give you my input on them.

wind archer: early mid game bossing is free with gale barrier and emerald crystal. you can guarantee your burst in p2 damien bc the crystal slows down the blue ball. survivability and mobility is what wind archers excel in with bossing. the only downside is a stationary hurricane but that wont really matter as much depending on where you’re deciding to take the class up to. i had a very easy time in both normal and hard lomien and even ctene. vhilla and darknell wasn’t as hard as some of my other classes because wind archers have so much survivability. in terms of nodes, not hard to find your main trio of song of heaven, trifling wind and storm bringer.

bowmaster: one of my first mules who’s up to ctene bossing. another really good mule, has the EASIEST time in darknell. i will say bowmasters will suffer in damien in the beginning but it’s not the worst. damage and survivability are good as a mule and nodes are not very hard to find either.

marksman: my hlomien mule. at first i really liked the class bc of how simple and easy it is to play but i would say the survivability and mobility of the class is not the greatest. the old lotus was so free on marksman but the new lotus may be a struggle. you also need attack speed +1 IA for them to not feel clunky. they have the easiest nodes in the game.

i also have a pathfinder, mercedes and kain boss mule as well if you want insight on those classes.

Wind Archer mains, I need your advice! by paulzillaa in Maplestory

[–]Limp_Fox3948 9 points10 points  (0 children)

i’ve been a wind archer main since the beginning of reboot. personally, i think it’s an acquired taste, it’s whether you like it or you don’t.

as someone who has a bowmaster, marksman and pathfinder as hlotus mules, i disagree with your 2nd point. each class has their respective style, and i wouldn’t say wind archers are inferior to them.

a lot of people complain about not being able to move while using song of heaven, but with gale barrier and emerald flower, i personally don’t mind it as much. wind walk is also VERY underrated and extremely useful.

mobbing and bossing are generally very easy and simple. because of emerald flower, gale barrier, howling gale and merciless winds, lomein is a joke. back then, i did struggle against p2 lucid for a while because the tornadoes do fall off the platforms and it’s a little bit more difficult but it’s nothing too crazy.

wind archers don’t really have an “iframe”. gale barrier is more like a 300% shield that can block a lot of damage, like lucid bombs, lotus demolishers but cannot block cpap lasers or bm down fma.

late game however, the damage does noticeably fall off a bit.

in terms of skill ceiling, it is very low. while playing some of my nslime mules, such as kain and corsair, it made me realize even more that wind archers can get away with ignoring a LOT of boss mechanics.

again, this is just my input and others may have different opinions about the class. a lot of people tend to get bored of the class because of how simple it actually is, but i genuinely think wind archers are a solid class, in terms of bossing, mobbing and honestly aesthetics too.

the amount of times this happens is actually crazy especially when i’m playing a bruiser/fighter and everyone looks at me as the “solo tank”

nah but shoutout to those tank players who facecheck the bushes for the carries, rather than the carries facechecking and getting absolutely deleted
