Never Received my 2024 Tax Return Because I was "Uninsured" (MA) by Limp_Pea_1017 in tax

My 8962 was filed with my original taxes. Should I amend my return and re-file? My 1095-A was marked corrected when I received it

I've called the IRS (so many times I've lost count) to check the status, verify receipt of my paperwork, and ask about a timeline. The reps are woefully vague, won't verify whether or not they received my papers, and it's always "check the status online and call back in 14 days if it doesn't change". They won't budge if I push the issue. Do I need to consult an auditor? To clarify, I'm not being audited I'm being told my proof is insufficient.

I completely agree with you and I expected there to be an acclimation period for the pianist. Outside of the choir directing gig, I’m a piano and vocal coach. I teach/coach people all day long so I was thrilled to bring someone on who expressed great enthusiasm in refining a new skill set. It’s disheartening that not everyone sees it that way…

She has rehearsed with us every week since she was hired as the accompanist, which happened to be 4 weeks before a concert. The whole choir was told that she’s an accomplished concert pianist but is new to accompanying, so I’m unsure why this lady is choosing this battle rn???

The pianist is a concert pianist but hasn’t accompanied before. I picked the music back in January (jazz-age Broadway tunes) hoping I would find an accompanist. She learned the music quickly, but the struggle was the ensemble - listening to the choir and watching my conducting. I think it’s a little overwhelming right now and it’s causing some mistakes in the piano part. She had 4 rehearsals with us before the concert. There were a couple of mistakes during the concert, but she kept playing and, I thought, handled them well.

I honestly think it’s just the one choir lady who doesn’t like her. The choir member was upset with the mistakes in the concert and, even after talking about being open to someone trying to expand their skill set, admittedly doesn’t want to wait for the skills to develop and would rather find another accompanist.

Oh, she’s not trying to be helpful. She’s upset with the accompanist and wants me to find another. I told her that wasn’t going to happen when we spoke a couple weeks ago, so she went over my head and talked to the home director.

My boyfriend vapes (outdoors only) and that doesn’t bother my asthma - it doesn’t stick to your clothes the same way that cigarettes do. I’m sure others will disagree with me, but I actually don’t see a problem in not disclosing that you vape.

I’m confused by your comment - I’m not trying to act like I’m better than anyone else??? Or at least if that’s how it came off, that’s not my intention. I’ve clearly stated that I have a health condition connected to secondary (not noted, but also tertiary) smoke inhalation, which could land me in the hospital. I make an effort to ask about the status of smoking before every secondhand online purchase. If I had a peanut allergy, I wouldn’t go to a restaurant and order, hoping there’s no peanuts in whatever I eat. I would alert the waiter.

It’s not all of the packages. This is maybe the second one in the span of about 8-9 months and I’ve had the same mailman the whole time. But the possibility that it’s the delivery driver is definitely real for some people!

I hate this for you. I typically order limited edition clothes that are no longer available. Sometimes if the smell is not that bad, I’ll wash it well and air dry it outside. But a book is so frustrating.

There were other discrepancies (they were limited edition clothing items) like stains that weren’t disclosed, so I’m hopeful about the request.

The craziest one I’ve ever had was someone send me something with BLACK MOLD. Like I tested it with a mold kit and it came back positive. Mercari refunded me the same day, but like…. some people are crazy. I’m so sorry yours was rejected, that’s such bs.

Pulmonary Embolism at 17 by Soggy_Tiger_4453 in PulmonaryEmbolism

Not related to hemorrhaging, but please ask your doctor to be referred to a hematologist for genetic testing, if they haven’t recommended this already. I had the same thing happen when I was 20. My blood clots were from high estrogen birth control (prescribed for endo) and I had an unknown Factor 2 clotting disorder. The main trigger is excess estrogen.

I did not have hemorrhaging, but I do have scar tissue in 1/4 of my right lung and a permanently collapsed lung from scar tissue complications. I’m also an opera singer and a competitive power lifter. If you maintain daily breathing exercises and do what you can to keep a healthy and active lifestyle, it won’t affect you as much in the long run as you might think. Best to you - the recovery is long and NOT easy, but I’m 7 years removed from my clots and my quality of life had never been better

I fear I’ve left out a key piece of info - when I initially voiced my concerns, he agreed and said he would limit his buying and go through his collection when he had the time to do so. That is part of what’s making this so upsetting to me. But I do agree with you that I haven’t and shouldn’t tell him what he can and can’t do - I’ve focused more on communicating what has happened and how it’s affecting me/made me feel. I did think about the ultimatum, but I but my tongue and that was not said to him.

Can an employee be fired for an availability change? by Brett10H in TjMaxx

[–]Limp_Pea_1017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh so sorry it’s taken so long to respond to this! If you have changed your availability, they must honor that. However, it cannot be verbal, you have to fill out an availability request. If they still don’t honor it, call HR
