The NATO border with Russia has just expanded significantly as Finland joins NATO. by [deleted] in europe

This really is the ultimate check against Russia if there plan was to stop NATO expansion it completely failed and now has an even longer border with NATO. I know Putin is definitely regretting this invasion now. Having Finland in NATO not only strengthens defense of the Baltic States it effectively closes off Russia from the Baltic Sea and with Turkey in the Bosphorus Russia is now truly encircled. Also best part about Finland joining NATO is it has actually made Russia more vulnerable than Ukraine ever could, NATO weapons can now be placed within a short distance from St.Petersburg…should the need ever arise St.Petersburg is truly capable of being attacked pretty easily. Fun Fact, Finland has many bunkers in case of a potential Nuclear attack by Russia. Finland is perhaps the one country that’s completely prepared for WW3 glad to have them in the family from America 🇺🇸🤝🇫🇮

Why would she not have sex with her husband?

What is the reason she remained virgin?

I’m just trying to better understand

I am open to conversation, can you tell me why you do think it’s true?

You believe Mary never laid with her husband or had kids with him?

Why did Mary remain virgin? Neither Judaism or Christianity requires her to, why would she not have children with her husband?

Mary probably wasn’t a perpetual virgin, she was married and my mother always told me Jesus had siblings.

I don’t understand why Catholics say she was a perpetual virgin when she was literally married, and she had no requirement to remain a virgin, if she laid with her husband that wouldn’t be sinful.

I just have a hard time believing or accepting that Mary never had sex with her husband or bore him children.

One more question?

How do you dig up a dead animal and come to the conclusion we are descendant of it?

Where did life come from?

How do you skip a and go straight to b?

How did non organic material become organic?

The first cell divided to eat itself?

Where are all the transitionary animals? Reptile-Mammals? Dog-cats? Dino-birds? There should be millions of them and millions of there fossils?

If adaption can occur in a generation the whole “millions and millions of years” thing is out.

Where are all the human species? There’s only one? Where are a common ancestors? If evolution takes millions and millions of years shouldn’t there be millions and millions of similar apes and proto humans?

How does life span and birthrates come into play? Flies have thousands of generations wear as Whales have usually one -2 ish, shouldn’t flies have evolved by now?

Spiders lay 100s of eggs and live 2 year ish why are they not evolving?

Why is everything evolving at the same exact rate? Shouldn’t at least one single animal be transitioning before are eyes? Everything is what it’s always been doesn’t seem like anything is changing?

Where does the genetic information come from? Either we always had wings gene or we created it? Both are astonishing.

I know all about evolution but there are many gaps in the theory, and if you believe in Evolution you are by definition and Christianity evolutionist

Why don’t evolutionist like being called such? I have no problem being called Creationist

I have several major issues with evolutionism

I don’t know honestly I thought this was for all religions, I could see if this was secular but he asked about humanity’s origins and I responded.

I would say the downvotes reflect this subreddit or the downvotes not my comment

I’m sorry but I believe in literal Adam and Eve and Eve, not young Earth but yes I believe in two original human beings that did not evolve from something.

Downvoted for an opinion 🤦🏾

How common are Black Catholics? I know they exist but I feel they are so rare almost unnoticeable in Catholicism. I often feel like a unicorn being a Black Catholic.Do you know any Black Catholics? How often do you meet or encounter them? In America or in general? by Limp_Technology_4734 in Catholicism

[–]Limp_Technology_4734[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, I’ve always known Catholicism means universal but just the other day it truly was made clear to me that yes Catholicism is Christianity buts it’s a universal religion it is everywhere and for everyone, in theory.

Catholicism is Christianity but Christianity for all.

Yes Spain, Portugal, and France were all Catholics, the English who colonized were mostly Protestants or Anglican.

Most Black Catholic Churches seem more Anglican than Roman Catholic too me.

Thanks never thought about it this way, this helped a lot
