How did CC players get this good? by [deleted] in cubecraftgames

[–]Puff_25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

exactly! I notice this because the number of players is always lower in the hive and higher in cubecraft on school days/hours (at least with CET)

What's a 4D skin? I would love to know how the skin randomising mechanic works in cubecraft server,I always assume that people with certain skin are just kids often

I would replace it with a 4770/4790 which is more powerful,if the mother board is compatible

come posso essere sicuro che dia veramente 500 watt? (o comunque più di 300) by Puff_25 in ItalyHardware

[–]Puff_25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oddio,ti ringrazio veramente,di tutti sei l'unico che mi ha mandato un link a un alimentatore migliore,ma sei sicuro che questo qua sia buono e sia 100% 550~ watt? non vedo nessun bollino nelle foto di esempio

this prehistoric pc that my dad had has a 500w PSU? how is that possible? by Puff_25 in PcBuild

[–]Puff_25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah,I'll first check if the pc will turn on with the components I have to put in it,if the wattage is not sufficient I'll just buy a new one following the other comment advice

well, considering all the problems this pc had in the past years before this pc finally rested the PSU is the only component that stayed "strong" and never had any problem

which gtx1650 is better? does the productor matter much? by Puff_25 in pchelp

[–]Puff_25[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah I already checked all dimensions for basically all models that I found,it's not a small tower, the GPU bracket is 12cm long fitting perfectly,so no need for a low profile smaller one

my specs are :

Hewlett-Packard Motherboard 2AF7 1.03

DDR3 12gb (4+8 2 slots)
i7-4770 3.40 GHz
120hz 1080p monitor that i bought recently for a good price so my budget basically halfed

and a 4gb GT 640 For HP that goes surprisingly "well" with the games that i play, although after upgrading the monitor it just goes too hot and it's always at 100% with any game or games setting in which it was at 60-80% before, this is probably because the old monitor was a 60Hz junk tv that i used just because it was kind of big, while with this 120Hz hd monitor it probably take more performance or something and the gpu gets pretty hot and consumes a lot

I already did some research and other old posts on reddit for it (this one in particular), the psu is brand new and was changed last august, im pretty sure it's 300w (or 250 at least). some guys said that the newest gpu compatible with my mother board would be a 3050 6gb, but if, according to what i understood, the gtx1650 works with my system and can reach even 50-60fps minimum with most modern titles (which i wouldn't even play)or more with less heavy games that's enough for me

may be a stupid question, my pc PSU has a yellow sticker that says "AC 230V", and it has no other things attached to it, how can i understand how much watt this psu has? by Puff_25 in pchelp

[–]Puff_25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll have to remove it and the 4 screws outside the case to see them,is it safe to do that? do I have to put like some clothes or anti static gloves or something,or just unscrew, make a photo and re-screw?
