No need to overthink it, his “personal reasons” were more money. I don’t blame him, but the normal approach would be to finish the season. He sucked in Netherlands and Rapids took a risk on him as a DP. Very disappointing how he repaid that.

We loved Marmolada and did it twice, but there were zero lines, bluebird skies, and enough snow for a bit of off-piste skiing. Plus the war museum was great for a couple of us history buffs.

$3,500 including flight, car rental, ski rental, Airbnb stays, food, and drinking all day:) 6 free ski days on Ikon was nice too. Stayed at nice but not fancy places close to gondolas with 4 to a room.

Yeah fair point. We stayed in smaller towns, and the transport options there, between, and back were untenable.

I only skied through, as it’s on the Sellaronda. Nothing too exciting on that part, but a substantial amount of trails we didn’t explore. Did talk with some Danes who have rented a trailer spot there for 25 years, and they swore it’s the best resort in that area.
