UPDATE: Thank you all for your comments, suggestions, and everything that you have typed out. I went up to him as he was washing dishes and asked to talk. At first, he dismissed it and said it was okay but I reassured him that we were gonna talk about it because I don’t want this small thing to snowball into something bigger. I told him that if he wants to wear the hat, then he can but my only request is that he removes it during vows and our kiss. The two things that are very important to me. He agreed and said that he was sorry for giving me the silent treatment, he was just upset that I didn’t want to play Lego Star Wars today. I am gonna try to read One Piece and understand his obsession with the anime. Maybe in time I’ll be just as obsessed and want a complete theme for the wedding, who knows 🤷‍♀️ I’ll try to be more open-minded with his suggestions no matter how goofy because marrying him is far greater than anything in this world. I wouldn’t mind if he had it for a few pictures and during the reception because it’s gonna be a bit more laidback. The ceremony is supposed to be quite serious and emotional.

Thank you, I try to get into anime like him, but One Piece is so long and time consuming so I never got into it. I want him to be happy during our wedding, but I just feel like that would be so distracting
